↳ Stelena: They hold a special place in my heart and through all the pain, all the hurt, Stefan and Elena seem to find their way back to one another. Just looking at them, when they’re together, when they talk about each other; that gleam in their eyes. That smile. You can feel the love.

Defan: The love Stefan has for his brother is enough to break anyone’s heart. He gave up everything for him, everything and part of what makes Stefan so amazing to me is that he gets it. Damon is his family. The only real family he has left. Being alone for a century and a half, watching everyone you love pass you by, die as they’re supposed to. That’s pretty heavy. I need Stefan and Damon to have each other’s back like I need air to breathe. You are supposed to put family first. You aren’t supposed to let anything get in the way.
